SAP has established the SAP Integration & Certification Center (SAP ICC) where software vendors can get the services they need to support their integration efforts and to complete the certification process.

SAP ICC teams are located at SAP Headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, as well as at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California, United States, Bangalore, India, and Chengdu, China.

The services SAP ICC offers include:

• Access to SAP test systems – By subscribing to SAP Test System Access, software vendors can take advantage of the SAP ICC developer package service in order to access a variety of SAP test systems via a remote connection. Also included is a software developer's kit (SDK), as well as regular updates and downloads for SAP connectors.
• Integration assessment – Not all third-party software can be integrated using SAP predefined integration scenarios. So SAP ICC offers integration assessments that help software vendors design and develop new integrations – including information on how to use existing interfaces, since integrations based on stable, released interfaces qualify for SAP certification.
• Integration consulting and workshops – By offering integration technology workshops, SAP ICC provides consulting on SAP integration technologies and organizes regular workshops that focus on the various technology options available for integrating external software with SAP solutions.
• Integration certification – Vendors can submit their interface software to an SAP ICC for certification testing. After this is completed, certified integrations are included in the SAP online partner and product directory for easy reference. Integration certifications are valid for 3 years.
• SAP ICC premium services – Vendors whose software has successfully passed interface certification can request performance and load tests for additional quality assurance.
